Before razoring each area of your horse, take a clean warm washcloth, place the cloth over the top of area you razor first and hold it there a minute. The warmth of the warm water will help to prepare the skin and hair for razoring and will help you do a neater job. Then carefully move the razor over the area using light but even pressure.
Good quality razors will give your horse a clear shave, and there will be less nicking.
