Warren has been riding and competing on Reining horses for just over a decade now and has competed nationally and internationally in this short period. He has covered thousands of miles, travelling throughout Australia, taking with him his truck loads of these fine athletes. His passion for the sport and his horses is the most important attribute he possesses, the health, condition and show preparations has always been his number one priority.He has a great team of sponsors behind him and he is proud to represent products he truly believes in and the results speak for themselves.
He travels all over Australia sharing his wealth of knowledge, giving clinics and lessons to reining enthusiasts and people just wanting to better their riding and the understanding of the horse and its mechanics. His Five Star Reining Clinics have become very popular around Australia.
It is with great excitement that he announces, passing his $400,000.00 in Reining Australia money earning; making him the highest money earning competitor in Australia, which is a great feat in itself!!
Since beginning Reining in 2001 he has won the national Reining Futurity 4 times , the National Derby 10 times, the Equitana Masters 6 times , which includes winning this event for the last 5 years in a row .
His State wins for Open Futurities, Open Derbies and Open s are too many to mention and he does say this with modesty.
He represented Australia in the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games, held in Kentucky USA, and had the great honour to end up 13th in the World. The best riders and horses from all countries were there to compete and the atmosphere through the entire games was so electric. It was truly such an honour to have this opportunity.
Warren has also had the great privilege of being a recipient of the Australia Day Sports Award back in 2006. This was a great day for him and will always remain a highlight in his lifetime of achievements.
